Joe Polise, a consultant, writer, and teacher with astrology and Tarot since 1990, has always had a great and abiding interest in astrology's history, and he loves to share with all the pivotal role astrology plays in the Western Tradition and its practical value in our world. He is the NCGR Education Director and Vice-President of Chicago's Friends of Astrology. He has presented talks and workshops for NCGR, ISAR, and UAC as well as for many local US astrology groups.

We will be taking a look the ' game changing", Uranus square Pluto (2012-15) aspect from both a collective and personal perspective. This is an aspect repeating seven times over the next five years, giving us the chance to completely change some area of our life through focused will and intention. Additionally, Joe will also discuss how the current Uranus/Pluto squares are alike/different from those past, and how this aspect is supported by other energies, particularly Neptune in Pisces. In this all day workshop, we will learn one astrologer's approach to "chart synthesis" which goes from the "macro" ( hemispheric emphasis, mode distribution) to the "micro" (high-focus planets, house rulerships, etc) and then segue into practical ways to forecast and combine forecast tools including eclipses, progressions, and outer planet transits. This is a fast paced information rich workshop to help you prioritize astrological information with skill and insight. Bring your chart!
